Advanced CO2 laser technology to minimise scarring and scar tissue — improving the appearance of scars and offering a solution to other aesthetic concerns including wrinkles and pigmentation.
CO2 laser scar removal is an advanced way to minimise scarring and scar tissue. Using the latest technology, the 3D Vjuve laser from 3D Aesthetics, we can improve the appearance of scars and offer a solution to other aesthetic concerns such as wrinkles and pigmentation.
3D Vjuve uses CO2 technology to deliver superficial energy into the skin, creating tiny white bloated dots of heat-stimulated tissue through the skin layers. This results in an inflammatory response that stimulates new collagen and elastin production to tighten the skin and smooth out the acne scars. The treatment can be complemented with LED therapy to help regenerate the cells.
Skin concerns that we can target with CO2 laser treatment:
Your therapists will recommend the appropriate skin care for you during your 3D Vjuve treatments to hydrate and moisturise your skin. An SPF of 30+ will need to be applied daily. Exfoliation treatments are not recommended for four weeks after a 3D Vjuve treatment.

CO2 fractional laser is the most intensive resurfacing treatment we offer, and the one where an honest conversation about downtime matters most. It creates microscopic columns of controlled injury in the skin while leaving healthy tissue in between to drive the repair, which is what makes recovery faster than old-style full resurfacing — though it is still not a lunchtime treatment. It is used for acne scarring, surgical and trauma scars, deeper lines and sun damage. At our Leamington Spa clinic we always consult and patch test before booking a full treatment, partly to see how your skin responds and partly so you can plan around the recovery. Expect redness and a sandpaper texture for several days, and strict sun protection for weeks. From £250.
Darker skin tones need particular care with ablative lasers and we assess this individually rather than assuming. Active infection, recent sun, a current course of isotretinoin and pregnancy are all reasons to wait. Scarring usually needs more than one session, and we will tell you that upfront.
